Long Night Against Procrastination, Tue., Dec. 1 at Main Campus and El Centro

Dear University Community,

Students are invited to a special event designed to make it as easy as possible to get tutoring help ahead of final exams, writing assignments and projects.

The Learning Support Center, Center for Academic Writing, Ronald Williams Library, El Centro and Campus Recreation invite students to the:

Long Night Against Procrastination
Tuesday, December 1
7 p.m. to midnight

Two locations:

Main Campus, Ronald Williams Library, Fourth Floor
El Centro

How will this event help students counter procrastination?

Students can:

Drop in any time during the event to get help from writing tutors, math tutors (for 090- and 100-level courses) and reference librarians.
Attend workshops to help with:
Studying for Final Exams
Research Skills: Finding and Citing the Sources You Need
And more.
Participate in tutor-led course review sessions for selected courses.
Participate in Chair Yoga

Students who attend the event will be offered free coffee and snacks. Some lucky students will have the chance to spin a prize wheel!

What if students are unable to attend the event?

Students can call Long Night staff to arrange getting help from a writing tutor or reference librarian over the phone or via Skype from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on December 1 by calling (773) 442-4492.
