Special Library Quilt Exhibit
We are happy to once again host an exhibit of quilts made by local library employees. The show will be displayed on the first floor of the Library, near the elevators, visible as one enters the front doors of the building.
One of the local libraries sponsors a youth quilting group, and several of the young quilters will lend us their finished pieces. These particular quilts will eventually be donated to Project Linus, a charity organization that collects and donates hand made blankets to children in hospitals.
This special exhibit will remain at the Ronald Williams Library through August 1, and then be shown at the Skokie Public Library during the month of August. After that, it will be at the Zion Benton Library in September, and finally at the Brookfield Public Library in October.
