NEIU University Archives Collaborates with WTTW
In observance of LGBT Pride week, at 7:30 PM on Tuesday June 3rd WTTW will be airing a new documentary on Channel 11 called Out & Proud in Chicago. NEIU alum Joel Hall, founder of the Joel Hall Dance Troop, will be featured. Told through recollections, rare footage, and archival images—some of which were obtained from the NEIU University Archive–the program will explore the history of Chicago’s LGBT community.
