CQ Researcher – Now Online!
We are pleased to offer our users online access to CQ Researcher, noted for its original reporting on issues in the news. The Library has been able to purchase the backfiles of the database, offering reports which go as far back as 1923. Topics covered include health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology, and the economy. The search interface for CQ Researcher has several special features:
- “In the News” provides updates on issues that are covered in recent CQ Researcher reports.
- “Coming Up” informs users on forthcoming reports.
- “Browse by Topic” is useful when you have a topic in mind, but need to narrow the focus.
- “Browse by Date” allows you to view reports from each year.
- Keyword searching is also an option.
You can access CQ Researcher by going to the library’s alphabetical list of databases on our website and on the Library‘s tab in NEIUport.
