Annenberg Media Streaming Videos Now Available
The Library has recently added 1481 streaming video programs produced by Annenberg Media to its collections. These programs, which can be viewed on demand, are designed to advance excellent teaching in disciplines taught in America’s K-12 schools by helping teachers increase their subject expertise and improve their teaching methods. Many programs are also suitable for students in the classroom and viewers at home. The distribution of these streaming video programs is funded by the Annenberg Foundation and made available for viewing from the Learner.org website (http://www.learner.org). Free registration is required for all first-time users.
Access to these video titles is now as easy as searching for any other material in the Library’s online catalog. Search the NEIU Library Catalog for specific titles or retrieve a list of all titles by setting the location limit to “Annenberg streaming videos” and searching the keyword “Annenberg” in the advanced search mode. The URL of the specific video will be displayed in the catalog record for directly linking to the video at the Learner.org site.
